Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with 5–6 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills and hands-on experience working with Contentful and content-driven websites. You will be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions, integrating APIs, and supporting high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
• Work extensively with Contentful CMS, including content models, APIs, and integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to support Contentful-based and headless web applications.
• Build reusable and maintainable backend components and services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend and integration issues.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure application quality.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–6 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Contentful CMS / Headless CMS.
• Strong experience in API development and integration.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.
• Experience working with database technologies and data modeling.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security.
